Strengthening the Roots

In this game called life there are a lot of lessons which no classroom can teach. No curriculum, can teach a child the art and beauty which Team Effort/Team Work can bring in. The transformation which a child can go through by playing a sport will prove to be remarkable. For most of the children participation in sport of their choice is invaluable.

Sportsmanship is understanding of how to be a good winner, manage yourself if and when you lose and of course handling everything in between that.

Some children like to participate in traditional team sports such as Cricket, football, lacrosse, hockey, volleyball or baseball. For some, individualised sports such as tennis, badminton, horseback riding, chess, and athletics are more attractive while still being part of a team.

Regardless of the kind of sport, there are so many lessons to be learned. “Life Long Lessons which wont otherwise embed in their head. Sports give experiential learning. Playing a sport can help a child in understanding the importance of achievement after putting in considerable amount of effort and hard work.

Let your child follow and learn the sport/s of their choice to see them outperform and shine in every possible manner.

Teach your child that while playing a game all they need to do is enjoy each and every second of that particular game without thinking about the outcome. Performance is the key which leads to the desired outcome.

Like Michael Jordan said….

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

Hope your child find their GAME… 🙂
